Nestled in the heart of Windham, Maine, East Pine Plant Shop feels like stepping into a living daydream, where lush greenery spills from every corner, sunlight filters through glass ceilings, and the air hums with life. This hidden gem isn’t just a plant lover’s paradise—it’s also my newest, exclusive location offering for families and intimate celebrations looking to document their growth among the greens.
Recently, I had the joy of photographing a family of seven here—two loving parents, five children, including the sweetest set of infant twins. It was warm, lively, and brimming with the kind of love you can feel in your bones.
It’s always special to document families, but there’s something extra exciting when they’re a fellow photographer. Alannah is the talented eye behind Birth Body Photography, with a gift for capturing the raw beauty of women, maternity, and birth so it was her moment to be in front of the lens for a change. She knows the beauty of beginnings, both in her work and in her own life, and she carries that knowing into every moment with her family. On top of that, she’s an incredible mother, wife, and all-around human being. Then there’s her partner Cam and who is not only the owner of Finn Property Services, but a family man by every definition of the word. Watching them and their little family, it was easy to see how they grew so large; they simply are overflowing with love. I was so lucky to spend my morning with their family of seven—documenting this beautiful (and a little chaotic) chapter of growth.

East Pine Plant Shop offers an intimate, organic atmosphere that works beautifully for both family sessions and intimate weddings/elopements. Imagine saying your vows under the gentle canopy of tropical leaves, or holding your little one in your arms with the soft glow of natural light wrapping around you.

From tucked-away nooks lined with vibrant greenery, the barn with it’s twinkle lights and ambiance to open garden pathways perfect for golden hour portraits, every corner here feels cinematic. The greenhouse transitions seamlessly from romantic to playful, making it ideal for:

Their story felt right at home here, in a place where everything grows toward the light.
With two infant twins in their arms, older siblings circling them like the sturdy stems of a well-rooted plant, Alannah and Cam are in a season of tending and blooming all at once.
In the quiet hum of the greenhouse, Alannah cradled her babies as if they were the most delicate new shoots; her strength and warmth their first sunlight. Outside in the garden beds, the whole family gathered close, laughter spilling like water over roots. Hands reached for pea pods, peppers, for each other, for anything that brought connection.
This is what growth looks like—not just in the soil, but in love, patience, and togetherness.

To celebrate adding East Pine Plant Shop to my list of available locations, I’m offering an exclusive 50% off intimate wedding/elopement services to the first couple who books their intimate wedding or elopement here and hires me as their photographer.
For the mamas, the families, and the couples; I am offering an exclusive 25% off any collection when you choose East Pine Plant shop as your location when booked for or reserved in September.
Your day will be documented with the same storytelling approach that made this family session so special—authentic, heartfelt, and beautifully you.
